Merry Christmas & a merrier new year!

An economical plan for a Christmas log cake session:

1) Eat the $2.90 meal at sumo house. And because you go in a large group, you will get the student freebies. Normally, when you go in 2 or 3 people, you get no freebies to complement the plain $2.90 meal. However, now is not the time to complain about how cheapskate Sumo house is. Beware of the 7% GST monster though.

(special mention to Jr. who ordered a quite expensive side dish to share with the rest.)

Talk at sumo house as this is a gathering after all and remember to drink up your share of the green tea.

2) Next, go to AMK Hub and survey the area for log cakes to buy. However, i highly recommends FairPrice Xtra. Here, a bargain of $9.90 for a 500g log cake can be found (chocolate fudge). For mango/black forest, it will cost $12.90. Since you are already here, stop by at the drinks section and buy whatever is on offer there.

Each person will roughly pay up to about $3 odd.

3) Lastly, you will need a noble person to lent his house. The plan is to watch TV/Movies and play Mahjong/Bridge/PSP until everybody is hungry and thirsty. Then, bring out the log cakes and drinks and start merrying. Lol.

Though this plan didnt not include christmas decorations, I would feel that the ambiance is not as important as the people who are there with you. Right?

And yes, a Christmas log cake session is indeed a great way to end the year with. It might not be a bang or two bangs, but it is definitely economical (just joking, i meant heart-warming.)

And now, I would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas And a Merrier New Year!
And Jia You for Retests!
