Watching the 7pm show on channel 8 about the compulsive gambling, one tends to see the negative effects if one gets addicted.
However, gambling will come into one's life at certain point in time. Does one run away like it is the plague? The risk factor, some say, makes everything more interesting and spice things up, mahjong included. But when one is not financially independent, the losses can be at times OMG.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the sessions. Can get to see certain people and catch up on each other and everything. And play mahjong and do other stuff. Ok la, it is always when one wins, nothing matters. But when one losses, it is another situation.
Win = Eat more good food.
Lose = Go on diet.
But at the end of the day, I would still prefer to play and win/lose rather than not meeting them.
What's your take on this issue?
