Sad that Love Blossoms ended, with some Malaysian Chinese Drama replacing it. The new show is even more outrageous than Love Blossoms, I actually managed to convince my sisters who normally go crazy over these love shows to watch the Korean show, Hearts of Nineteen (which is ironically still a love show, but a much better one).

Let me just write one illustration of how the two leads in the Malaysian Chinese Drama got together. They were strangers on this travel tour, with she the tour guide, he the tourist. They were both attached, but felt something for each other. Along the way, they were kidnapped by terrorists who held them hostage. Drama ensured when one of the other tourists who was pregnant went into labour. They had to deliver there and then but the pregnant lady was quite sad as she suspected that her husband was having an affair. The guy that said something about true love and believing in it and thus it touched the hearts of everything, especially the female lead. They successful delivered the baby and were just about to celebrate when the police surrounded their compound. The terrorists panicked and decided to kill one of the hostages and picked the girl. He of course wanted to protect her and got beaten up. In the end, the terrorists wanted to kill them both. Just then the guy said something about going to die and we should proclaim our love for each other and propose to her. She hesitated while the other hostages cheered her on to agree to his proposal. They tried to touch with their fingers while the terrorists tried to tie them up. Just when she said yes, they touched, and the police saved them all. And they went back to their normal lives, preparing to get married. Wow?
